Summertime!
Guess who finished their first year of college? This girl! Way hard to believe how fast that went by. I decided that finals should be banned because all they do is stress you out and it's not like you retain all off that information that you had to cram in one night anyways! I'd say its a logical decision. Also moving out of a dorm room was not a fun experience. I miss Flagstaff already :( I'm just so bored here at home there is pretty much nothing to do. I'd almost rather be in class... HA! not. I started my summer job today! I am a nanny for an adorable 6 week old little girl named Sky. She is just too precious, but honestly not too exciting. We watched cake boss all day and she slept. But it's only 2 days a week so I'd say I pretty much scored in the summer job department :) As for Lincoln, I miss him a ton!!!! I've gotten a few letters from him so far and he can email on Thursdays! He said that he's doin good and the language is super hard to learn. It's really difficult not being able to communicate all the time but I am slowly getting used to it

Yesterday it was a beautiful 65 degrees in Flagstaff. Today it snowed. Real cool Flagstaff (literally...). Also I am missing Lincoln terribly :(

Day 1.
So here goes my first attempt at blogging! We'll see how long I actually keep up with it, I have the attention span of about a 2 year old. I guess I should start by introducing myself... Hi! My name is Morgan. I am finishing up my last few weeks of freshman year at Northern Arizona University. Loved it! Aside from stressful classes and all those mornings where it was about -12 degrees out, I've enjoyed pretty much every second of college so far. I love the freedom and the feeling that I am doing something big with my life! Anyways, I never really thought I was the blogging type, but I need something to keep me occupied for the next 2 years. Here's the deal: my former boyfriend, and current best friend, Lincoln, is leaving tomorrow for his 2 year mission in Armenia! Where is Armenia you ask? Good question, because before his mission call I didn't really know that was a country..oops. Somewhere over by Iran and Turkey. In other words, FAR AWAY! So today pretty much sucked, we got to have one last phone conversation and of course I couldn't stop bawling. Seems like the tears especially liked coming in the middle of class. Even though 2 years seems like a long time (well not just seems like, it IS a long time) I guess this I'm thinkin this blog will be a mix of my life waiting for my best friend to come home, and just my life in general. I'm excited to see how I'm able to grow, and I'm excited to hear about all of Lincoln's experiences as a missionary. He's gonna do great I know it :) And as for me, who knows what could happen in that time! All I have to do is stick to my motto: everything happens for a reason, and God has a plan for all of us. This is day 1, and counting.
